Need help with Workday Finance?
The UW Connect Finance portal is your first stop for self-help with new financial processes in Workday. Your department’s finance staff/business office can also help you with Workday Finance questions; if you’re not sure who your department-level finance contacts are, ask your manager.

Select the appropriate option below to determine where to start when you need Workday HCM help.

If You Are a UW Employee...

Refer to the Employee Workday Help self-service Support Resources.
If you still have a question, contact your HR administrator or manager.
Lastly, at the suggestion of your HR Admin/Manager, complete the Contact Us form. Refer to the Tips To Help Us Help You page for guidance.

The best way to get answers to your Workday questions related to payroll, benefits or HR is to complete the Contact Us form; the form directly generates a case in our support system, bypassing email entirely. However, you may also contact us by email directly:

If You Are a Workday HCM Role-Holder...

This category applies if you hold HCM-related security roles in Workday such as (but not limited to):
– Academic Partner
– Costing Allocations Coordinator
– HCM Initiate 2
– HR Partner
– I-9 Coordinator
– Time and Absence Approver/Initiate

Then, if you still have a question, call/contact your Named Support Contact (NSC).
If your NSC cannot resolve your issue, work with them to contact HCM Operations. Refer to the Tips To Help Us Help You page for guidance.

If You Are a Named Support Contact...

If the issue will (or might) affect employee pay or benefits on the upcoming paycheck, contact HCM Operations; refer to the Tips To Help Us Help You page for guidance. Otherwise, refer to the Employee Workday Help self-service Support Resources.
If you still have a question, contact HCM Operations – as a Named Support Contact, you have the option to open a ticket, or speak directly with your HCM Service Partner.
